Privacy Policy

How TechoraIT collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with the public website at techorait.com.

Effective:

Last updated:

Version:
1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how TechoraIT ("TechoraIT", "we", "us" or "our") handles information collected through the public website at techorait.com (the "Website"). It is written for the Website's actual functionality and data flows.

This Policy applies to the public Website only. It does not govern managed IT, cloud, firewall, security, backup or support services supplied to a customer under a separate signed agreement; the handling of information under those services is governed by that agreement and any accompanying data-processing terms.

The Hebrew version of this Policy is the controlling version for users in Israel in the event of any discrepancy, subject to applicable law. This document reflects Israeli data-protection requirements as understood on the effective date and does not constitute legal advice.

1. Introduction and scope

Operator: TechoraIT. Website: https://techorait.com.

This Policy describes what information we collect through the Website, why we collect it, with whom we share it, how long we keep it, how we protect it, and the rights available to you. It should be read together with our Website Terms of Use.

By using the Website you acknowledge the practices described here. Where the law requires consent for a specific activity (for example non-essential marketing), we ask for that consent separately and do not treat mere browsing as consent to it.

2. Who controls the information

TechoraIT is the party that determines the purposes and means of processing information collected through the Website (the controller of the database, in the terminology of Israeli privacy law as amended). TechoraIT operates as a technology services business based in Israel.

  • Operator / trade name: TechoraIT
  • Website: https://techorait.com
  • Email for privacy requests: support@techorait.com
  • Telephone: 055-2905013

The operator's full legal identification details (legal form, registered name and registration number where applicable, and a mailing address) will be added here once verified and finalized. They do not change the substance of your rights under this Policy or under law.

3. Information you provide directly

When you submit the consultation / contact form, we collect the details you enter. Fields marked as required must be completed to submit the form; the remaining details are collected only if you choose to enter them.

FieldRequired?Why it is collected
Full nameRequiredTo address you and respond to your inquiry
Business emailRequiredTo reply to your inquiry
Phone numberRequiredSo we can respond to and follow up on the inquiry; without it the online form cannot be submitted
Company nameRequiredTo understand the business context of the inquiry
Number of employeesRequiredTo assess how we may be able to help
Requested serviceRequiredTo route and understand the inquiry
MessageRequiredThe free-text details of your inquiry
Consent to be contactedRequiredTo confirm you want us to reply to the inquiry

Please do not include passwords, access keys, production credentials, financial account details or unnecessary sensitive personal information in the free-text message. The form is for making an inquiry, not for transmitting secrets.

4. Information collected automatically

When the form is submitted, a small amount of context is sent with it to help us handle the request and reduce abuse:

  • The language of the Website you were using (English or Hebrew)
  • The date and time of submission
  • The page address (path) from which the form was sent, without its query string or fragment
  • The human-verification (reCAPTCHA) token generated when you confirm the "I'm not a robot" checkbox (see below)

In addition, our hosting provider and the providers that deliver the inquiry email automatically process standard technical connection data — such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, and request date and time — as part of serving the Website and transmitting messages. This data may be used to keep the Website available and secure and to detect abuse.

We treat information as identifying wherever it could reasonably be used to identify or single out a person. We describe information as "aggregated" or "de-identified" only where that is technically accurate.

5. Why we use information

We use the information for the following specific purposes, and not for unrelated purposes without a lawful basis:

  • Responding to your inquiry and providing the information you requested
  • Scheduling and conducting a consultation you requested
  • Assessing, at a preliminary level, whether and how we may be able to help
  • Preventing spam, fraud and abuse of the form
  • Keeping the Website secure and available and troubleshooting problems
  • Complying with legal obligations and keeping required records
  • Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims
  • Understanding aggregate Website usage where analytics are actually enabled
  • Sending marketing communications only where you have given separate, valid consent

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not reserve an open-ended right to use it for any purpose.

6. Whether providing information is required

You are not legally obliged to provide any information. However, the required fields are necessary as a practical matter: if you do not complete them, the online form cannot be submitted and we will not be able to respond through it.

The phone number is required so that TechoraIT can respond to and follow up on the inquiry. Without it, the online inquiry cannot be submitted. You may always contact us instead by email or telephone using the details in this Policy.

8. Service providers and recipients

To operate the Website and handle inquiries, we use a limited number of third-party providers. Depending on their role, a provider may act on our behalf (a processor) or as an independent controller of the data it receives. The main providers and categories are:

Provider / categoryFunctionData involved
EmailJSTransmits the contact-form submission from your browser to our mailboxThe form fields you submit, submission metadata and connection data such as IP address
Microsoft 365 / OutlookHosts the mailbox that receives and stores the inquiry emailThe contents of the inquiry email and related email metadata
Website hosting providerServes the Website and keeps server / security logsTechnical connection data such as IP address, request time and pages requested
Google reCAPTCHA (human verification)Bot / abuse protection for the contact formBrowser interaction signals, connection data (including IP address) and a verification token sent with the form

Human verification (Google reCAPTCHA v2) is active on the contact page. When the widget loads, your browser communicates with Google servers, and Google may process interaction signals and technical connection data and set a security cookie (see the cookies section). The Website does not currently run analytics or marketing trackers. We do not claim to control the independent practices of Google, Microsoft or other third parties — their own terms and privacy notices apply to the data they process as controllers.

9. Requirements applied to processors

Where a provider processes information on our behalf, we seek to put in place appropriate contractual, organizational and technical requirements consistent with Israeli data-security requirements, addressing matters such as the permitted information and purpose, the systems used, authorized personnel, confidentiality, security measures, use of sub-processors, incident notification, oversight, and return or deletion of information on termination.

We do not represent that every third party is fully compliant at all times; we apply reasonable diligence and rely, in part, on each provider’s own commitments and certifications.

10. International transfers

Some of our providers store or process information outside Israel. In particular, the form-transmission, mailbox, human-verification and analytics providers may operate servers in other countries, including the United States and the European Economic Area.

Where information is transferred outside Israel, we rely on the mechanisms permitted under the Israeli privacy regulations governing transfers of information abroad — for example, transfer to a recipient that is subject to laws providing adequate protection, or subject to contractual commitments to observe the principles of Israeli data-protection law. We do not claim that any particular foreign country provides equivalent protection unless that has been verified.

11. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and then delete, anonymize or restrict it. Indicative retention periods (which are being finalized and may be adjusted in line with legal and accounting requirements) are:

CategoryIndicative retention
Inquiries that do not become customersKept for a limited period to follow up, then deleted or de-identified
Communications that lead to an engagementKept for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterwards
Server and security logsKept for a short period for security and troubleshooting
Records of consent and opt-out / suppressionKept as long as needed to honor your choice and evidence it
Records needed for legal claims or legal / accounting dutiesKept for the period required by the applicable limitation or record-keeping rules

Exact retention periods will be confirmed with counsel before they are stated as fixed periods. In the browser, the Website stores only a submission timestamp and non-reversible message fingerprints for abuse-prevention — never the message, name, email or phone.

12. Cookies and local storage

The Website uses cookies and local browser storage. Essential cookies and storage are required for core security, accessibility, and navigation. Non-essential cookies (such as those used by Google Ads for advertising and conversion tracking) are blocked by default and are only set if you explicitly consent via our cookie banner:

13. Marketing communications

Responding to your inquiry and sending service-related messages about it are not marketing. We do not automatically add contact-form visitors to any marketing list.

We will send commercial marketing messages only where you have given separate, specific consent (or where otherwise permitted by law). Every marketing message will include a simple way to opt out, and we will keep only the minimum record necessary to honor your opt-out.

14. Security

TechoraIT implements reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the identified risks. Depending on the context, these may include access controls and least-privilege access, authentication, encryption of data in transit, logging, supplier controls, data minimization and secure deletion.

No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise that a security event will never occur. This statement does not limit or waive any data-security obligation that applies to us under law.

15. Security incidents

If a security incident affecting personal information occurs, we will assess, contain and document it and will notify the Privacy Protection Authority and affected individuals where and to the extent required by applicable law. We do not promise individual notification for every event where the law does not require it.

16. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Request access to the information we hold about you
  • Request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Request deletion of information, where applicable
  • Withdraw consent, where processing depends on it
  • Object to or stop marketing communications
  • Contact us with any privacy question or concern
  • Lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority

To exercise a right, contact us at support@techorait.com. We may need to verify your identity to protect your information, but we will not ask for more identifying detail than reasonably necessary. We do not promise rights broader than those the law provides, but we will honor any rights we choose to offer.

17. Children

The Website is directed to businesses and to adults acting in a business capacity. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information through the Website, please contact us so we can address it.

18. Third-party websites

The Website may reference or link to third-party websites and services. Those websites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, for which we are not responsible. Please review their notices before providing information to them.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version number and dates at the top show the current version. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to make it noticeable — for example, a notice on the Website. We will not silently expand the purposes for which previously collected information is used in a way that reduces your rights without an appropriate basis.
